In case, any misunderstanding then the family should arrange to perform a holy yajyen with ved mantras. In this Yajyen, a Brahma i.e., a learned acharya who knows four Vedas should be present, who will recite the ved mantras and explain also. In this connection, you may make contact with Arya Samaj mandir, to seek Brahma.
