Peedit Vyakti: Pujya swami ji saadar namaste, swami ji main Bahut pareshan hun. Mujhe ek sanyasi ne kaha ki ishwar ka jnaan hone par sanyas lete hain. Unhone kaha ki Kewal karmon se moksh nahi hota. Samadhi ke bad jab panch klesh dagdhbeej hote hain tab moksh hota hai. Anuman pramaan se tripti nahi hoti. Agni ke pas jane se klesh dagdhbeej ho jayenge. Usne kaha ki samadhi ke liye VED padhna avashyak nahi hai. Kya yah sach hai swami ji ? Main us samay vairagya avastha mein tha. Maine unse kaha to unhone kaha ki “apko bahut bhram hai .aap abhi vairagya ko samajhte hi nahi ho.” fir maine kaha ki kya gautam buddh ka vairagya patanjali yog darshan ke anusar sachcha tha? To unhone kaha ki “gautam buddh ka vairagya patanjali yog darshan ke anusar sachcha to tha lekin adhooraa tha pura nahi tha. Ve apar-vairagya tak thoda pahunche. Par-vairagya thik se nahi hone ke karan ve ishwar tak nahi pahunch sake” . Is kathan ke bad maine par-vairagya utpann karne ki kosis ki. Meri mansik sthiti bahut najuk ho gai. Iske bad mujhe thik se yad nahi ki maine moksh sukh ka anubhav kiya ya nahi. Swami ji kripa karke meri madad kar dijiye. Kya mujhe us swami ne jo kaha vo asamprajyat samadhi prapt karne ke liye paryapt tha? Main Bahut confused hun ki mere sath asal mein kya hua tha.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Ishwar ka gyan hone par sanyaas leiney kee kya avashyakta hai kyunki Ishwar ka gyan prapt karne ke liye hee sanyaas liya jaata hai. Han! Yeh avashya hai ki sanyaas tab leina chahiye jab jeev vedic sadhna dwara jaagruk hokar kuch vairagya prapt kar ley aur us sadhak ka drida nishchaye Ishwar prapti mein ho jaaye.

Yeh satya hai ki kewal karmon se moksha nahin hota. Vedon mein kahin teen vidya hain. Un teenon ko jaan kar aur jeevan mein dharann karne ke baad hee moksha hota hai. Weh teen vidya hain-

Karma kand, Gyan kand, Upasana kand.

In vidya ko dharann karke jeev, kathor Ashtang Yog Vidya kee sadhna karta hai aur ek din Samadhi prapt karke , Ishwar ke darshan karke moksha ka sukh prapt karta hai.

Yeh avashya jaan lein ki Samadhi prapt karne ke liye ved vidya ka sunna/padna ati avashyak hai. Kyunki vedon mein hee to upar kee kahee teen vidyayon ka gyan hoga aur uske pashchat hee Ashtang Yog sadhna se sadhak smadhi prapt karega. Ved na sunney se na to Ishwar ke Anadi Swarup- Anant Gunn aadi ka gyan hoga aur phalswarup na hee Ishwar se prem paida hoga. Ved na sunney se upar kahee teen vidyayon ka kabhee bhee gyan nahin hoga to phir hum karma ka swarup, gyan ka swarup aur upasan /pooja ka sanatan avinashi swarup bhee nahin jaan payengey. Tab kis prakar kee hum upasana ya yog sadhna kareinge arthat galat hee kareingey.

Par vairagya to upar kahee sadhna jab kisee ved evam yog vidya ke gyata vidwan kee sharann mein rehkar karogey tab hee hoga.

Jo kuch aapke saath hua tha, usey bhool jao, us par vishesh dhyan na do aur sadhna mein lag jao.

Nikhil: I want to find my kul devta.
Swami Ram Swarup: In this regard, I paste my article –

The matter of Kul Devta does not exist in Vedas. So, there is no learned person to say about the same. In Vedas, there are only five Devtas to be worshipped i.e., are meant to be given respect and worship etc. those are mother, father, atithi, acharya and formless God who are nowadays mostly not being praised, respected and nursed well. Vedas tell the fact and we’ll have to come back under the pious shelter of four Veda, under the guidance of learned acharya of Vedas and yoga philosophy, to overcome all problems, diseases etc., and to attain salvation.

So, according to Vedas, there is only one ishta and kuldevta of entire universe that is formless, almighty God who creates nurses and destroys the universe. Apart from this human beings have made their own path. If such people are not interested in the eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God then they may go ahead, at their own, against the Vedas.

Nayak: Chandra grahan kaise hota hai
Swami Ram Swarup: Jab prithivi sun aur moon ke beech mein aati hai aur prithivi kee chhaya chand par padtee hai tab Chandra grahann hota hai. Yeh scientific hai isliye baaki kisi jhooti story mein nahin phansna chahiye.

Basant: Saadar Namaste swami ji, sorry i’m asking the same type of question once again. Swami dayanand ji ke guru swami virjanand ji ne ved nahi padhe the to unhe samadhi kaise prapt hui? Kya swami virjanand ko moksh nahi hua tha?
Swami Ram Swarup: Virjanandji nein poora vedic vyakaran shastra aur vedon ka adhyayan kiya tha. Phalswarup hee unhonein Swami Dayanand ji se Guru dakshinna mein Bharat varsh ka agyan, andhvishwas aur jhoote granthon ka prabhav mitakar vedic marg ka prachar karne ko kaha tha.

Vishal Kumar: Namaste Guruji, I have read almost your all books. but one which I like Most “Yajan Karm Sarvshreth Pooja” having translation of many Mantra and your commentary on many matters. I request you if possible put this book on website to read for all. So, everybody can know the Veda in batter way & can understand importance of Agnihotra/Yajan etc. It is my sincere request.

E O: Dear Swamiji, I thank you for answering my previous question, Swamiji, I have another two questions which I want you to give me the answer.
(1) At present I am having some financial problems and to Mr RJ in July 2008 complained the same problem as my, you asked him to do Hawan with Gayatri mantra daily to obtain the blessing of God, I do four mala – 108 x 4 on chanting of OM God’s name, and due to the nature of my job I can only do hawan with gayatri mantra two times in a week on my off days, since I am not doing the daily hawan, will my two hawan in a week be enough to get blessing from God.
(2) Is it a sin to eat onion and garlic because some vegetarians in India do not eat onion and garlic. I hope to receive your answers to my questions.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you and you are welcome, please.
(1) . In this connection, we must know that we take food daily, both times and even more. Similarly God states in Samveda mantra 14 that hawan/ yajyen , name jaap of God and yogabhyas should also be done daily both times.

You do hawan twice a week, so you will get the benefit of hawan (worship of God) for two days, please, because the deeds which are done – either good or bad, never go in vain. It leaves its effect (good or bad) to be faced in future.

(2) . To eat onion and garlic is not a sin, this being vegetarian food.

Basant: Namaste swami ji, Darshanon mein varnit VIVEK JYAAN kya hai ? Kya Ved-Jyaan, Vivek jyaan hai ? Ya iska sambandh par-vairagya se hai?
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji.

Vivek shabda ka airth hai samajh. Sansaar mein teen padarth hain- Chetan Parmatma aur jeevatmayein aur teesra jad prakriti. Yeh teeno hee padarth avinashi, ajanamein hain. Ved ke adhyayan , Yajyen- Yogabhyass kisi vidwan yogi ke sanrakshann mein rehkar jab koi sadhak yeh sadhna karta hai tab usey upar likhe teeno padarthon ka swarup, gunn, swabhav aadi ka vivek hota hai arthat us sadhak kee buddhi mein samajh paida hotee hai kee upar likhe padarthon ka swarup, gunn, swabhav aur unki shakti aadi kee samajh aati hai. Doosra kee yeh jeevatma karmanusaar shareer dharann kartee hai. Jaise hum manushya ka shareer dharann kiye hue hain. Ved ke gyan ke bina aam nar naari ko yeh gyan-vivek-samajh nahin hotee ki weh kaun hai.upar kahe vedic gyan aur sadhna se jab weh samajh jaata hai ki weh shareer nahin hai, shareer mein rehne walee chetan jeevatma hai tab vidwan ussey kehta hai ki is sadhak ko vivek paida ho gaya hai aur yeh samajh gaya hai ki weh shareer nahin hai apitu shareer mein rehne walee avinashi chetan jeevatma hai. Isey hee vivek kehte hain. Sadhna dwara parvairagya prapt honey par hee vivek utpann hota hai. Ved ka arth hee gyan hai parantu jab tak ved vidya ko suna aur samjha nahin jaayega tab tak manushya mein gyan athwa vivek paida nahin hoga aur phalswarup weh agyani aur aviveki hee kehlayega.

Pratiksha: Mai janana chahti hu ki krishna paksh me santan prapti ke liye garbhdhan karna uchit hai ki nahi
Swami Ram Swarup: aise to santaan prapti ke liye samay basant ritu hee uttam kahee gayee hai aur santaan chahe kisee bhee paksha mein prapt ho weh santaan manushya shareer dharann karke jab ved vidya ke anusaar jeevan vyapan kartee hai tabhee weh vidwan kehlati hai.
