Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Nowadays, all the present Advaitwad devotees say that Adi Guru Shankaracharya was in favour of present Vedanta. But Rishi Dayanand Saraswatiji totally denies. Dayanandji states Adi Guru Shankaracharya was the follower of eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God in the beginning of the earth.

Pratik Ranjan: Pranam Swamiji. By GOD’s grace I have an opportunity to ask you a question. In Srimad Bhagwat Geeta chapter 6 slok 13 explains the practice of Meditation and here it is said about ‘Nasika ke agra bhag’.May I know what ‘agra’ means that is part of nose near nostrils or part near forehead between eyes. This thing is disturbing me as everywhere else I listen that we should concentrate on part of nose near forehead between eyes.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. There are three main points for concentration, please-
(i) Between two eyebrows which is called Agyachakra.
(ii) Tip of the nose which is called Nasagrey.
(iii) And third is heart.
You can concentrate wherever it suits you.
Usha: Please pandit ji tell me some thing about rudraksh of zodiac sign like aries,aquarius,leo,taurius,pisces,scorpio,virgo(according to name)?
Swami Ram Swarup: In Vedas, there is no custom to change the future etc., by wearing Rudraksh, gems etc. It is only bad and pious karmas of the previous lives due to which, a person experiences sorrows or pleasure respectively. Rudraksh and gems cannot change the unchangeable method of Vedas/God.
Indrani: Where can I read about the nakshatra grahotpata given in 63rd supplement of Atharva Veda?
Swami Ram Swarup: Sixty-third supplement of Atharvaveda is not clear, please. Perfect reference of Atharvaveda mantras is known by quoting- Kand number, Sukta number and mantra number. Please quote correct reference.
B U: I am having pension problems.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Really, I am sad to know about your pension matters. I pray to God to make the payment of arrear of your pension immediately. Though, you have been applying to the high court but I would again advise you to send mercy petition to the chief-justice of High court along with history of the case, please. I am sure God will listen and the chief justice would do the needful immediately. I would also advise you to chant Gayatri mantra with its meaning sitting on any suitable asan with closed eyes alone. Secondly, you must also do havan with Gayatri mantra daily after finishing the havan please pray to God to settle the matter immediately. I am sure God will listen to your prayer. My blessings are always with you.
Rupesh: In which field should I do business? How is Diamond?
Swami Ram Swarup: This is your own choice to select the business field. However, diamond business is also beneficial.
K S: How much money in future? I am looking for government job.
Swami Ram Swarup: Money, job, business, bright future etc., is always based on firm decision, hard working and daily worship of God. God always help those who help themselves but every blessing is to be obtained from God by doing His true worship daily. So, please go ahead and make your future bright. Hard working, devotion, dedication, honesty, services to the parents and elders to follow eternal religion mentioned in Vedas, practice of Ashtang Yoga, discharging moral duties to get progress in education, science simultaneously with spiritualism like, daily havan, to be in contact with the learned Acharya, to get his advice, are some of the pious deeds which make the future bright and obliterate the sorrows, problems, diseases, etc.
One must wake up early in the morning for early morning walk and exercises, must sit on meditation and chant holy name of God, must be away from any addiction and non-veg. Such pious actions lead to long, happy life and bright future.
