Hemant: Namaskar Swamiji, please explain in detail soul’s sthool, suksham and karann sharer. Namaskar Hemant
Swami Ram Swarup: Sthool which is panchbhautik and is seen by eyes, suksham wherein five prann (vital airs), five gyan indriyan (organs of sense), five suksham bhoot, mann and buddhi exist. This shareer (body) remains with the soul during birth and death. It has two kinds- Bhautik i.e., which is made of part of suksham (the minutest, the subtlest) bhoot. Second is called swabhavik shareer (natural body). Natural body remains with soul while attaining salvation.

Aseem: Pranam Guruji, Do Vedas describe Almighty God’s unlimited power in some ways? Do we visualize these powers in form of Shakti or Maa or Devi like Maa Adi Shakti, Maa Durga, Maa Ambe, Maa Kundlini…What does Maa Gayatri and Maa Saraswati denote?

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you.

Yes, Vedas describe the Almighty God’s unlimited powers. For example- Yajurveda mantra 40/8 states that God is “Shukram” i.e., has all powers, the Yajurveda mantra 40/4 states –‘Nannaddev Aapnuvan’ i.e., God is beyond imagination and calculation. So, none of our senses, mind or intellect are able to achieve Him.

Yajurveda mantra 31/ 3 states-“ Jyayansch Purushaha” i.e., The God is not only Omnipresent in this universe but He is beyond the universe, also. That is why, God has been told to possess unlimited qualities and power, in Vedas.

His powers cannot be visualized in any of the self-made Goddesses etc. Vedas tell that when a Yogi listens to Vedas and follows its preach, by doing daily Yajyen, name jaap and hard practice of ashtang Yoga, under the guidance of the learned acharya of Vedas, God manifests in such Yogi.

deepak: swamiji charan sparsh swamiji i was talking to someone about havan yoga meditation but that person told me that as everyone doesnt have time to do so much like havan meditation and yoga thats why now days pooja like murti puja or bhajan has been created, as ma durga shivji alll devi devtas are form of that formless divine jyoti, i couldnot explain that person can u reply me i will print and give that person. personally i am folowing way you explained all mankind.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my son.

Ashtang yoga Philosophy has been preached by Almighty God, Himself (because knowledge of four Vedas emanates directly from God) in the four Vedas. Rigveda mantra 3/56/1 state that the fundamental law of Vedas cannot be challenged or changed. This world was created about one Arab, ninety-six crores, eight lakhs, fifty-three thousand and 111 years ago. The people uptil Mahabharat war, i.e., upto 5,300 years ago, and still have been following the said unchangeable and unchallengeable eternal and everlasting Ved vanni. Secondly, in Vedas, there is no provision to change the path of worship etc. for example – Right from the beginning of the earth, all human-beings are inhaling oxygen to survive. You see, the said fundamental law of surviving on oxygen is also unchangeable and unchallengeable as per above quoted Rigveda mantra. But, because it relates to survival, so nobody has yet dared and shall never dare to change it. Who would change this fundamental to commit suicide. But to change the worship, being spiritual matter, it does not effect survival. So, people have made their own paths of worship, which do not tally with Vedas. so, we must see that one path is made by Almighty God and that is of Vedas but the path which does not tally with Vedas has been made by human-beings at their own accord, keeping in view their own convenience. We’ve to decide whether we follow God made path or man made path. I mean to say, if the ancient people had sufficient time to do practice of Yoga Philosophy and daily Yajyen etc., then why not us? Answer is clear that we’ve left the Vedic study since about 5,000 years ago. So, we’ve misled/deviated ourselves from following true Vedic path and thus are nowadays entangled in the materialistic articles/pomp and show etc. most of the time is spent on tour, clubs, cinemas, watching T.V., spending fun and duly indulged in laziness, sleeping and keeping ourselves mostly away from hard working etc. So, we’ve to see that when sun would not rise then automatically, there would be darkness all over. Similarly, when the enlightenment of Vedic knowledge is over then illusion engulfs us. For example:- a well is required to be dug. If the work is allotted to a lazy man, he at first instance would start telling that it is very difficult task but hardworking person would start and finish his jobs at the earliest. The said example, applies to most of the students, politicians, married people, actually everyone , that in the absence of inspiration from the knowledge of Vedas, which tells to do hard work honestly, everybody wants to do less work reap more profit and in the field of worship, he himself makes paths by which he would not do hard work of listening to Vedas, doing Yajyen and practice of Yog Philosophy but would change the eternal philosophy himself telling that nowadays, we’ve no time to listen to Vedas, to do hawan, Yajyen etc. so, the easy path of worship should be followed. In this connection, Tulsidasji also states about Vedic culture in his chowpayee

“SHRUTI SAMMAT HARI BHAKTI PATH SANJUT BIRATI BIBEK.

TEHIN NA CHALHIN NAR MOH BAS, KALPANHIN PANTH ANEK.”

Meaning: Tulsi states that there is an eternal worship based on Vedas, which gives us asceticism and factual knowledge but the people are not following the path of Vedas due to attachment (attachment with materialistic pomp and show, family, etc.) and people make their own several paths of worship. So those who are not able to understand Vedas, they may continue their own path, so is the case of sects, please.

It depends on one’s wish. Yet, God’s will is final and supreme.

K S: Guru ji maine state level eligibility test diya tha. Acchha hua tha. Ab april ya june main result aa jayega. Kripya Aap ka aashirwaad chahiye ki is bar nikal jaye aur mera career ban jaye. .
Swami Ram Swarup: Mera aapko ashirwad. Let us hope for the best my son, my blessings are with you.

Gopal: Pranam Swamiji, Please explain, what is Sashtang Namaskar? Also, Is Sashtang Namaskar offered to Parents wrong? And Whom should we offer Sashtang Namaskar?

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you.

Sashtang means to do prannam along with eight parts of the body by lying down on the ground. It is not wrong to offer it in respect of parents. It should be offered to acharya and praiseworthy persons.
