Swami Ram Swarup: Happy news and my blessings to you, my daughter.

Sandeep: Pranam Swamiji. I am a software engineer and by the grace of God I have been greatly influenced by vedic philosophical thought. One of the things I really want to do in my life is to do my bit and help promote vedantic philosophy to others so that more and more people could benifit and appreciate the timeless jewels Vedanta offers. If there is any thing i can do kindly let me know. It would be a great honor to do my bit in anyway possible-thru website/animation videos/other media promotions etc and be able to serve vedanta in any way humanly possible for an uninformed, novice, and aspiring vedantist like me. Sadar Charan sparsh swamiji.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my son. Vedic philosophy is eternal and everlasting. The fundamental principles of Vedas are unchangeable and unchallengeable according to Rigved mantra 3/56/1 therefore vedic knowledge can’t be mixed with present vedant thoughts. Vedas tell three matters, i.e., Almighty God, souls and Prakriti which are separate from each other:-
Three eternal and everlasting matters:-

Several persons explain its meaning that there is only on God and nothing else i.e., except God there is nothing. They tell that there is neither prakriti nor soul and not even the creation which is being seen. Learned of Vedas do not accept it.

Eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God only preaches “Traitvad”. In Traitwad, there exist three matters:

(1) God (Ishwar)
(2) Souls (Jeev)
(3) Prakriti (Prakriti)

God and souls are alive whereas Prakriti is non-alive matter.

From Prakriti, all the matters of universe are created. But neither from God nor soul any matter is created. Soul can never be God being unchangeable and God can also never be soul being unchangeable. Soul due to the attraction towards prakriti is indulged in illusion and forgets his original form of immortal peace, purity etc. and has to face the birth and death again and again.

But Almighty being the commander of the souls and prakriti, is never attracted towards prakriti. He always remains purified. So, God cannot forget his original form and is never indulged in any kind of illusion. Therefore, everything like tree, tube light, stone, electric fan are made of prakriti and hence can never be God.

So, the meaning of Eko Brahma Dweetya na Asti will be, there is only one God equivalent to whom no other God exists. Besides this, Yajurveda mantra 27/36 states-‘Na Jataha Na janishyate’ i.e., there is only one Formless, Almighty, immortal God and equivalent to this, neither any other God was born, nor shall be born.

Whereas Vedanta speaks that there is only one God and there is no existence of souls and Prakriti. Vedas knowledge emanates directly from God whereas path of Vedanta has been initiated by human beings.

You are also advised to read my books Vedanta and eternal Vedas’ philosophy part I and II worth Rs. 31/- and Rs 20/-.

These books will give you immense knowledge to understand present Vedanta philosophy and eternal Vedas’ philosophy. So, after studying the books please make up your mind to serve Almighty God by spreading knowledge of Vedas. Again, my blessings to you.
