अथर्ववेद 3/10/3 में उल्लेख है-
“संवत्सरस्य प्रतिमा याँ त्वा रात्र्युपास्महे। सा न आयुश्मतीं प्रजाँ रायस्पोशेण सं सृज॥”
अर्थात् “ हे रात्रे ! संवत्सर की प्रतिमा ! हम तुम्हारी उपासना करते हैं। तुम हमारे पुत्र-पौत्रादि को चिर आयुष्य बनाओ और पशुओं से हमको सम्पन्न करो।”
अथर्ववेद 2/13/4 में प्रार्थना है- एह्याश्मा तिष्ठाश्मा भवतु ते तनूः ० “हे भगवान! आइये और इस पत्थर की बनी मूर्ति में अधिष्ठित होइये। आपका यह शरीर पत्थर की बनी मूर्ति हो जाये।”
मा असि प्रमा असि प्रतिमा असि | [तैत्तीरिय प्रपा० अनु ० ५ ]
हे महावीर तुम इश्वर की प्रतिमा हो |
सह्स्त्रस्य प्रतिमा असि | [यजुर्वेद १५.६५]
हे परमेश्वर , आप सहस्त्रो की प्रतिमा [मूर्ति ] हैं |
अर्चत प्रार्चत प्रिय्मेधासो अर्चत | (अथर्ववेद-20.92.5)
हे बुद्धिमान मनुष्यों उस प्रतिमा का पूजन करो,भली भांति पूजन करो |
ऋषि नाम प्रस्त्रोअसि नमो अस्तु देव्याय प्रस्तराय| [अथर्व ० १६.२.६ ]
हे प्रतिमा,, तू ऋषियों का पाषण है तुझ दिव्य पाषण के लिए नमस्कार है |
गणपति अथर्व शीर्षम् की फलश्रुती है-
“सूर्यग्रहे महानद्यां प्रतिमासन्निधौ वा जप्त्वा सिद्धमनत्रो भवति ।।”
– सूर्यग्रहणके समय महानदीमें अथवा ***प्रतिमाके*** निकट इस उपनिषद्का जप करके साधक सिद्धमन्त्र हो जाता है ।
इसी प्रकार देवी अथर्वशीर्षम् की फलश्रुती है –
निशीथे तुरीयसन्ध्यायां जप्त्वा वाक्सिद्धिर्भवति । नूतनायां प्रतिमायां जप्त्वा देवतासान्निध्यं भवति । प्र्ाणप्रतिष्ठायां जप्त्वा प्राणानां प्रतिष्ठा भवति ।।
प्रतिमा में शक्ति का अधिष्ठान किया जाता है, प्राणप्रतिष्ठा की जाती है। सामवेद के 36 वें ब्राह्मण में उल्लेख है-
“देवतायतनानि कम्पन्ते दैवतप्रतिमा हसन्ति। रुदान्त नृत्यान्त स्फुटान्त स्विद्यन्त्युन्मालान्त निमीलन्ति॥

1.) Atharvaved mantra 3/10/3- Is mantra mein “Samvatsarasya Pratimaam” ka arth hai “samvatsar” arthat varsh “pratimaam” arthat maapaney wali, bananey wali arthat varsh ka nirmann karne walee ratree anyatha din ho, saptaah ho, maheena ho ya varsh ho iskee koi pratima nahin hotee hai. Pratima ka arth hai, Prati+ma arthat naapane wala, jaise Yajurved mantra 32/3 mein kaha-

“Na Tasya Pratima Asti” arthat us Parmeshwar ko maapaa/napaa nahi ja sakta.
Kyunki weh anant hai. Yadi hum yahaan ved virudh pratima ka arth murti karenge to phir ek ratree, ek varsh kee pratima ginee jayegee. To srishti rachna ke prarambh se ab tak lagbhag Ek Arab, Sattanavein (97) crore se adhik moortiyan bane hui honee chahiye jo asambhav hai. Apne Atharvaved mantra 2/13/4 ke Vishay mein likha hai jiska devta “Vishwedevaha” hai. Vishvedevaha bahuvachan mein hai aur Parmeshwar bahuvachan mein nahi hota. Jaise ke ved mein kaha:-
“Mahitva Ek Id Raja Jagatobabhoov” arthat is vishwa ka ek hee Raja tha, ek hee hai aur ek hee rahega.

Atah “Ashmaanam” shabda Parmeshwar par ghatit nahi hota. Mantra ka arth hai ki acharya brahmchari se kehte hain ki aao aur “asmaanam aatishthi” aur is paasham par sthit ho jao jisse “te tanuhu ashma bhavtu” tera shrareer pasham jasa hee drid ban jaye.

Mahaveer ke vishay mein aapke reference spasht nahi hain aur char vedon mein Ishwar ko nirakaar kaha hai atah Mahaveerji, jo sakaar hain, weh nirakar nahi ho sakte. Yajurved mantra 15/65 ka bhaav hai ki vidwaan aap ‘sehastrasya’ asankhya padarthon se yukta jagat ke ‘”prama” yatharth vigyan ke samaan “asi” hai itiyadi. Atah Ishwar asankhya padarthon Kee ek murti ke roop mein nahi ho sakta. “Prama” ka arth hai yatharth vigyan doosra arth hai- tolne ke liye vaat aadi teesra arth hai tarazu aadi.

Atharvaved mantra 20/92/5 mein archat ka arth hai Pooja karna. Is mantra mein Parmatma kee Pooja ke liye kaha hai. Mantra mein kaheen bhi pratima shabda nahi aaya hai. Mantra ka bhaav hai ki “priye medhasaha) ho! Priya buddhi wale purushon “dhrishnnu” nidarta poorvak “Puram na” God ke samaan us parmeshwar ko “archat” Pooja etc. hum kisi be ved mantra mein apnee marzi se pratima aadi koi bhi shabda nahi jod sakte.

Atharvaved mantra 16/2/6 mein bhi kahin bhi koi pratima shabda athwa moorti shabda nahi aaya hai.

Aapne gannpati atharve shareeram likha hai, kripya ved mantra likhein. Aisee hee devi arthwa shareeram likha hai, kripya ved mantra likhiye. Aapne Samved ke 36th Brahmin sankhya likhee hai jo nahin hota, kripya mantra likhiye.

q1-kya swamiji isme kkanya ko patiprapt hone ki eligiblity batayi gayi hai ki woh kewal brahmchariho toh hiyuva pati koprapt kare,,agar usne vivaah rahit sex kiya toh usse patiprapt nahi hona chahiye..?
q2– swamiji aapne apni boo mein brahmcharya a detail mein explain kiya ,usme aapne yeh bhi kaha tha ki brahmchaari ko opposite sex k baare mein sochna bhi nahi chahiye ,,parantu shapatha brahman mein swamiji do opposite view hai..11.5.4.16 mein parantu swamiji 11.5.4.17 mein as choice declare kiya jaata hai–And concerning this they also say, ‘He may nevertheless do so, if he chooses; for these creatures are of two kinds, divine and human,–these human creatures are born from the womb, and the divine creatures, being the metres (verses of scripture), are born from the month: it is therefrom he (the teacher) produces him, and therefore he may do so (have intercourse) if he chooses.’..
zaroor yeh galat translation hai swamiji …kya swamiji aap iska in donoverses ka sahi translaton with sanskrit transliteration and bhaavarth bataa saktey hai?? aapka bohat dhanyawaad …charan sparsh swamiji..
Swami Ram Swarup: Ans. My blessings to you. Atharvaved mantra ka arth hai ki yadi kanya vedanusaar Brahmacharya dharann kartee hai to uskee marriageable age mein usko is gunn ke adhar par good character wala vidwan pati prapt hota hai.

1.) Vivah se pehle purush ho ya nari yadi paap karma karte hai to unko is paap karma ke phal ke anusaar yuva pati athwa yuva patni prapt nahi hotee.

2.) Aap Shatpath Brahmin Granth ke shloka ka theek arth shayad nahin kar pa rahe. Shloka 17 mein clearly kaha hai ki jo garbh se utpann hotee hai, weh manushee praja hai. Daivee praja chchand hain. Yeh mukh se utpann hote hain arthat vedon mein jaise Gayatri chchand hai, waise hee kai anya chchand hain jiska uchcharann acharya aur Brahmachari mukh se karte hain aur usi chchand se Brahmachari utpann karta hai.

Shloka 16 mein kaha ki Brahmacharya dharann karna bhi garbh dharann karne ke samaan hai. Atah shloka 17 mein istree prasang karne ka bhaav yeh hai ki Vidwan Brahmacharai mukh dwara ved mantron ka gyan dekar Brahmachari utpann kare arthat ved ke jigyasu Brahmachari banaye.

Shloka 12 mein samjhaya ki yadi acharya dahina haath shishya ke upar rakhe to acharya garbh dharann kar leta hai arthat apne shishya ka paalan aur vidya daan is prakar karta hai jaise mata-maunshee garbh dharann karke bina kashta uthaye santaan ka paalan-poshan kartee hai. Atah 17 shloka ka bhaav yeh hai ki Brahmachari daivee praja utpann kare, manushee praja nahin.
