Naresh: Can a pregnant women enter a newly build house after gruhapravesha?
Swami Ram Swarup: Yes, please. A pregnant woman can enter newly build house after grah pravesh. Why? Because the God is already residing the newly build house as well as within the body of every living-being that is in the body of pregnant lady also, God being omnipresent.

In the absence of eternal Vedic knowledge which emanates directly from God, self-made customs have emerged in which navgrah poojan, vastu kala, tewa, mahoorat, mangalik, thinking of a pure respectable pregnant lady as impious etc., are included which are not accepted by Rishi-Munis, learned of Vedas etc., being against the Vedas.

Most pure matter is Formless, Almighty God who creates, nurses and destroys universe. He (God) being omnipresent resides everywhere including filthy matters etc. But the God has divine qualities that such filthy matter does not even touch Him (Yajurved mantra 17/31). So, as I have said above, nothing is filthy for God. He is within all and within every matter of universe i.e., within and outside the body of human-beings. So, all women, keeping aside them being pregnant or not are respectfully allowed to enter the new house and to perform Yajyen, any kind of worship, recite gayatri mantra and every other ved mantras, say all Vedas.

Sachin: Namastey ji. If a person who was never taught about brhamacharaya, can he follow it at any age of life or is it necessary that he should follow it from childhood only?
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji. Yes, the person who did not know or has not followed Brahmacharya in childhood but has now come to know the reality of it then his repentance will only be in the shape of adopting brahamcharya in any stage of life because to maintain Brahmacharya is a preach of God in Vedas. However, to know immense knowledge about Brahmacharya, I would advise to read my book named — Brahmacharya – Dukh Nivarak Divya Manni (in Hindi) worth Rs.100/-, excluding postal charges. The book can be sent to you on receipt of your postal address, if you desire.
