Anonymous: Respected swamiji, sadar charanvandna, If one perform his duties sincerely and not harm any one, still is it mandatory to do daily iswar stuti havan japa sadhna etc. Is it not amount to demand of appeasing by the supreme power then only one will get prosperty sukh anand etc. kindly be explained the truth behind this. Warm Regards,
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. If a compounder starts saying that he discharges his duties well but he has not undergone any technical training/courses then a learned would not agree to his claim of discharging his duty well. Similarly, if a person has not known his moral duties from Yajurveda or from other holy granths, then how can he discharge his duty well. You see, the main duty of a human-being has been told by God Himself in Vedas to do daily havan/yajyen, name jaap of God and follow the Vedic preach. So, when main duty has been ignored and even without knowing moral duties mentioned in Vedas, how a person can claim that he is discharging his duties well and he does not need to worship God. So, his claim to do his duties well is not accepted by Almighty God.

No doubt, that when a person would be able to earmark his moral duties from eternal knowledge of Vedas, Shastras or holy granths and he starts as quoted above, then he would gain prosperity, sukh, anand etc. You see, the pleasure/happiness is attained only by worshipping God, as quoted above. Pleasure/happiness exists in Almighty God only and His worshipper gets it, in turn. You see, if happiness/pleasure could have been attained from materialistic articles or without worshipping God then Ravanna, Duryodhan, Kansa, Aleaxander, Napolean, Aurangzeb etc., could have gained permanent peace. But all know that they could not do so. Therefore, please try to know the Vedic culture which states that without proper worship of Almighty God and without Vedic knowledge wherein science, form of deeds and worship (gyankand, karmakand and Upasana kand respectively) has been explained, no one can gain peace. So, we have not been blessed by God with human body to do deeds at our own but have been blessed by God to spend the life based on Vedic preach in which we become capable of knowing moral duties and discharge the same satisfactorily. Also, to do worship of God, simultaneously, Vedas tell to gain progress in both paths i.e., worldly knowledge like science etc., and spiritualism simultaneously. One sided progress is always harmful.

Shelly: Pujya guruji, pranam. I have lot of questions in my mind related to different religions and their principles. When GOD is one then why different principles are given in different different sacred books. I am Hindu married to a Christian, because I feel we all are human beings son of same GOD. But I am not able to find out the GOD ask to kill any animal and give rules what should be eaten and what should not. I have read in Bible about it. Please answer to my query.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter.

1.) God is one, no doubt, but problem in this that said oneness is briefly mentioned by God Himself in vedas only. Now, problem is this that like in past periods, people are not taking interest in listening to eternal and everlasting knowledge of Vedas, hence, the problem. Now, several holy granths are existing in which the writers have described Almighty God according to their own discretion. Learned state that the views of the present saints, if tally with vedas, then views are true otherwise not. Yes, we are all human-beings and are children of above quoted one formless, Almighty God from where the Vedic knowledge emanates in the beginning of every earth but to understand the said fact, we will have to study vedas which is not being done and hence the problem. God has strictly prohibited intake of non-vegetarian and any kind of addiction. I paste my article on Non-vegetarian as under-

Vegetarians

Vegetarians and non-vegetarians are two categories. Accordingly the construction of body i.e., teeth, small intestine and large intestine, and digestive system has been made by God.

Human beings come in vegetarian category. Our teeth and digestive system are different from that of cat, dog, lion etc. Some animals like cow, buffalo, goat, elephant etc., also come in Vegetarian category. We take water by sipping but the animals who are non-vegetarian i.e., meat eaters they do not sip but lick. Whatever we eat, that food develops our mind and body and creates natural behaviour. For example if we take a cub who is newly born and nurse him by giving milk and thereafter vegetarian food only and on the other hand to another cub we provide him meat, then when they will be younger their habits will differ. The cub taking vegetarian food will not be as violent as the cub who took meat.

Now medical science also says that the energy in vegetarian food is more than that in non-vegetarian food. Vegetarian food gives long and ill free life. Vegetarian elephant is stronger than non-vegetarian lion.

Nobody can take meat until one inflicts violence on animals or birds etc., which is a sin. Our stomach becomes a graveyard where we gather meat by eating. As regards life in vegetarians it does not harm to them while plucking from plants etc. because every vegetarian plant has short life and is meant to give food to the human life. But to us meat is not entitled. Science has recently told that non-vegetarians are more susceptible to cancer disease and teeth degeneration as compared to vegetarians.

Non-vegetarian food is prohibited as per Vedas, shastras, Upnishads and all the ancient holy books. In vegetarian food an ocean of calories and vitamins is available by the mercy of God. Please check from a dietician about the same. Because it is lengthy one and I cannot explain here. For example dal, is full of proteins, soy-bean has more protein than any non-vegetarian food, which has ability to inhibit cancer also where as non-vegetarian does not. Green vegetables like palak, methi, etc., are the richest source of iron and vitamin A. So is the case of milk, curd, rice, fruit, etc.

R: Pujya guruji maharaaj, Pranaam and charan sparsh, we are all fine here by your and Gods grace. Guru ji maharaaj my parents were here with us. They lived here peacefully. My mother this time sat with us for havan as per her capacity. In there presence we did seemotayan sanskar as my sixth month has commenced. As we could not come down to your ashram frequently. In purva disha we kept your holyselfs photograph, as yogis do not have limitation of body, thinking you are presiding the ceremony.

Further my mother expressed the desire of meeting you and asked for your photograph. She asked me that photographs of yogis have special qualities I said yes, it is not a mere photograph.
