Rakesh: Pranaam Swami ji.. I have been following your answers and explanations for last more than one year and today I am putting my first query that why are we human beings when there are so many living organisms on the earth and what is human life all about?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you.

The human body is blessed by God, based on previous lives’ deeds. This life is blessed with knowledge of four Vedas to follow the same.

If we follow Vedic path then we destroy our sins etc., and make our future bright. In this way, a devotee also attains salvation, by destroying all sorrows. You see, other living beings are not entitled to worship God and attain salvation.

Main aim of human life is to attain salvation by following vedic path under guidance of learned acharya.

Manoj: Tell me Agar Hum Aapki Zindagi Me NonLiving (Nirjiv Vastu) Hote To Aap Hume Apne Pass kis cheez ke rup me rkhte?
Swami Ram Swarup: Nirjiv ke roop mein hee rakhte jaise bed, sofa, pots, chair, building, car etc., but we must not forget the truth that don’t think about the past and never worry about future bur present is important for us to make future bright. So, in present, you are not non-alive
matter. Therefore, it is of no use to think that if you had been non-living (nirjiv) matter then what would have happened.

Lalit: Maharaj ji Pranam. With your grace and Gods blessings I have recently got a good business opportunity with a very reputable company. You had given me permission to visit Vedmandir , Yole between 15-20th October. I was eager to come but with this business venture coming up I have to delay the visit. I am sorry for not keeping my word. I request your blessings and guidance for my new venture. With your blessings with me the business will flourish.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. I congratulate and bless you for getting this new venture. You may make your mind to come here in future at your convenience. Again, my heartiest blessings to you.

Vimal: I organised a marriage in temple of Krishan ji and Tulsi. I accepted Krishan as my son and bought Tulsi as my bahu in my home. After sometime Tulsi got dry, I left it in temple and also gave Krishan idol in temple. Now again after 3 years I am organising a Tulsi Vivah (marriage) and now I am accepting (new plant /different) Tulsi as my daughter and marrying her. Is it right? Can I do kanyadan of Tulsi?
Swami Ram Swarup: Marriages are performed within same species/genera only and that to when persons are alive, say Vedas. Kanyadaan of Tulsi is against Vedas.
